Fallis Genlo is a necromancer operating within the Void Realm — one of the dimensions beyond the mortal world of Tanelon. Kane was sent by the Grim Shadows to investigate the Void Realm, where he encountered Genlo attempting to summon a Death Lord.
Genlo wielded a wand of power that could partially control Kane due to his undead nature. The necromancer nearly broke Kane's will, exploiting the curse that keeps Kane trapped between life and death. However, Kane's willpower and the beast within resisted full domination. The confrontation ended when Lord Lok — a true Death Lord — appeared through a white portal, snapped his fingers to instantly destroy all undead and voidborn in the area, and threatened to return if mortals continued their meddling.
