Bael Noteblade

Bael Noteblade is a young recruit of the Black Ravens — the assassination and intelligence division of the Grim Shadows. His story is told in "The Black Raven's First Flight" from Arkest in Shadows. Bael earned his Black Raven mask by infiltrating the Bloody Bunny tavern in the Mirelight district of Arkest and killing Vesh Narot, a dangerous enforcer. He uses gas bombs and throwing knives as his primary weapons. The story provides a detailed look at the Grim Shadows' initiation process and the Grave — the underground crypt beneath Arkest that serves as headquarters, with its seven masked elders seated around the Stone, and sigil-activated entrance.
