The Eclipse Blade is a shadow-forged sword wielded by the Shadowborn lord Black Moon. The weapon is tied to darkness itself — it grows darker, longer, and more powerful when surrounded by shadow, its edge becoming almost impossible to see. In sunlight, the blade dims and weakens, eventually becoming insubstantial.
During the Shadowborn Hunt in Arkest, Black Moon used the Eclipse Blade to devastating effect in the nighttime battle through the city streets and the Stone Garden. When dawn broke, both the blade and its wielder dissolved into smoke.
