Black Moon

Black Moon is a Shadowborn lord — a being of living shadow and darkness — who led a devastating hunt through the streets of Arkest. He wields the Eclipse blade, a shadow-forged sword that grows darker and more powerful in shadow but dims in sunlight. Black Moon is preceded by Jerlan, a Shadowborn hunter who uses chains of living shadow to drag victims into darkness. During the Shadowborn Hunt, Black Moon pursued Kane through Arkest before the final confrontation in the Stone Garden, where Kane, Starfaller, Bladesfool, Sorrowblade, Titan Staraxe, and Manford the sage made their stand. The Grim Shadows arrived on mage carpets bearing the Veilheart artifact (carried by Black Flame). At dawn, Black Moon dissolved into smoke — unable to sustain his physical form in daylight.
