Rake

Rake is the Thumb of the Grim Shadows — second-in-command of the entire organization. He executes the Red Hand's will and ensures all field operations, discipline protocols, and unit coordination proceed without failure. He has full operational override authority in live combat zones and during periods of crisis. Rake is a long-serving operative believed to be one of the few members still alive from the organization's restructuring under Malrik Dreadmourne. He served as Malrik's executor and remains Starfaller's most trusted enforcer. His history includes command of the Bonecrushers during the Black Gate Offensive, oversight of the Eastern Purge Campaign, and surviving four assassination attempts from foreign syndicates including the Silver Veil. Following Malrik's death, Rake personally led the retribution strike — all targets neutralized within 6 hours. He is responsible for most internal security purges. Direct, unsentimental, and strictly hierarchical, Rake does not accept excuses, politics, or ambiguity in performance.
