Realm Gates are dimensional portals — some hidden, some unstable, and many forbidden — found primarily in and around Arkest. Some lead to celestial domains. Most lead to void-broken dimensions, hellscapes, and things far worse. The gates predate human civilization and are one of the primary reasons Arkest exists as both a trade hub and a perpetual source of danger. Gate activity is monitored but can never be fully controlled.
