Spelloch, The Mage's Crown

Full Record

Spelloch, known as the Mage's Crown, is the magical capital of the Dreaming Empire. Located deep in the Southern Highlands atop a dense nexus of leyline currents, it functions as the empire's highest seat of arcane law, magical research, and sanctioned spellcraft. Unlike other cities, Spelloch is ruled by the Convocation of Archmages. Here, power is not inherited — it is earned, conjured, or torn from rivals. Reality is not fixed: visitors report time distortions, memory loops, buildings that shift positions, objects that speak, and laws of gravity failing in unstable zones. Gods are tolerated — but not deferred to.

The Convocation recognizes no crown but their own. Their only allegiance is to the advancement of magical understanding — and the containment of what should never have been known.
