The Spiral Library

At Spelloch's center stands the Spiral Library, a legendary structure that ascends and descends beyond mortal architecture. Said to contain every spell ever dreamed, stolen, or sealed, the Spiral Library is both a vault and a testing ground. Entry to the lower levels is open. Deeper levels require sponsorship or magical clearance. Unauthorized intrusion may result in transformation, disappearance, or death. Many believe the library is sentient and selectively opens itself to readers it deems "necessary." It is considered the single most dangerous structure in Spelloch — and also its greatest asset.
